One of the reasons for the success of Android has been the large collection of Android apps. The Google Play Store has millions of apps under its roof, and the Android users download thousands of Apps from the Google Play Store. However, while downloading the app, you may face Error 495 in Android. The error 495 in Android occurs when you try to download the apps from the Google Play Store. So, to fix this error, you can do few things on your phone. In this post, I will be showing you some working solutions to fix the 495 error in Android.

Fix Error 495 in Android While Downloading Apps from Google Play Store : Best Fixes

The Error 495 in Android while downloading can occur due to several reasons including a problem with your internet connection of IP address, downloads being blocked on your network and disable location check for Google Play Store.

Fix 1 –  By Using Wi-Fi Fix Application

The 495 error in Android while downloading apps from the Google Play store can occur because the play store is blocking your ISP’s address. To fix error 495, you need to download an app called WiFi Fix from the Google Play Store. Since you are unable to download any app from the Google Play store, look for the WiFi Fix apk and install the WiFi Fix manually after downloading the apk. Once installed, run the WiFi Fix and wait for the app to fix general issues with your network. Once done, open Google Play Store again and see if you still get the error 495 in Android while downloading the apps.

Fix 2 –  Enable Location for Google Play Store

Some apps in the Google Play Store are specific to a region. For example, developers can restrict an app to only Indian users or only to US users. So, when you try to download such apps from the Google Play Store, it will request for location access. If you have Location access turned off in the Settings, then you may see the error 495 in Android while downloading apps.

What you can do here is to fix error 495 is that enable location access in your Android phone’s settings. Do to this, go to Settings, scroll down to the Personal section and tap on location. Now from the top, toggle the slider to enable Location access in your phone.

Now open Google Play store and try to download the app from the Google Play Store and see if the error 495 in Android has been resolved.
