How to manually Assign IP Address in Android – Set Up Static IP

No matter which Android device (Tablet or Smartphone) you are using there are very much chances of facing Internet connectivity issues especially while trying to connect with WiFi service. Therefore assigning a manual static IP address always prove to be handy for fixing such issues when you are encountering problems with Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) i.e. Obtaining IP Address looping. Read below on how to manually assign IP address in Android.

How to Manually Assign IP Address in Android Device – Set Static IP Address

This is really a frustraing and most commonly occurring issue among android devices. This can be either due to some WiFi connectivity issue within your Android device or can be related to the WiFi router device. Usually it is caused when too many devices are already connected with the same WiFi network.

Now after in case you wan’t to revert back to your original Internet settings just follow the below mentioned steps.

How to Revert Back to Automatic IP Address Obtaining : DHCP Enable Steps

In case you are not satisfied with the results of the above listed procedure and in order to restore the default settings open the Settings -> Go back to Network Configuration -> Just tap on the Network connection -> Under the IP Settings -> Select DHCP again (In case you are not able to see the option just make sure that Advanced settings box is checked in) -> That’s it just go ahead and save the settings.
