  • From settings, open Firewall settings.
  • Open or launch your Anti-virus.
  • Now add the following websites or URL in the exception list.

https://*.update.microsoft.com

http://download.windowsupdate.com

Once you have added all the websites to exception list, try to run the update again. If not, restart your PC and try to run the Windows update again. Fix 4: Delete Software Distribution Folder
